Overview:

Spring and summer in Morocco bring an abundance of natural beauty and outdoor activities, making it the perfect time to camp outdoors, hike, and enjoy picnics amidst stunning scenery. Our trip begins in Marrakech, where we will pick you up in a comfortable SUV and take you on a journey to discover the wonders of the High Atlas Mountains.

The highlight of this trip is the opportunity to camp outdoors, hike in the mountains, connect with nature. Research has shown that spending time in nature has numerous health benefits, including reducing stress, improving mood, and boosting the immune system. Our trip is designed to provide you with a full connection with nature and leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Day 01 : Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfalls –Bin Elouidane :

Welcome to the first day of our adventure! We will start our journey by picking you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and begin our drive towards the stunning Ouzoud waterfalls. Prepare for a thrilling 1-hour hike around the waterfalls, where you can immerse yourself in nature and take in the breathtaking views.

After the hike, we will indulge in a delicious traditional Moroccan Tajine lunch, overlooking the majestic waterfall. You will enjoy the soothing sound of the waterfalls while savoring the flavors of authentic Moroccan cuisine.

As we continue our journey, we will drive towards Bin Elouidane, which means “between rivers” in Arabic. This location is famous for being the main water source for many tribes and valleys along the High Atlas Mountains. You will spend the night here, overlooking the magnificent valley, and be surrounded by the serene beauty of the natural landscape. Get ready to disconnect and immerse yourself in the peacefulness of this unique place.

Day 02 : Bin Elouidane – Ouaouizeght- Imilchil Lakes :

On this exciting new day of our adventure, we’ll start off with a delicious breakfast at Bin Elouidane before embarking on a stunning drive through the high Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at the charming village of Ouaouizeght for some shopping to prepare for our picnic lunch.

As we journey through the breathtaking landscape, we’ll pass by isolated villages, witness traditional farming practices, and catch glimpses of the nomadic way of life. Our picnic lunch will be a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air.

After lunch, we’ll continue on to the magnificent Imilchil lakes, Tislit and Isly. The two lakes are steeped in legend, with Tislit known as the “Pride Lake” and Isly as the “Groom Lake.” We’ll set up camp at Tislit lake and enjoy a comfortable night under the stars, with a fire camp and dinner outdoors

Day 03 : Imilchil Lake  – Agoudal – Dades Gorge :

As you leave the lakes behind, you will find yourself driving through rugged and isolated terrain, with no shortage of breathtaking views.

As you venture deeper into the mountains, you will begin to see signs of nomadic life, with herds of livestock and occasional tents dotting the landscape. The route will take you through these traditional nomadic routes, allowing you to experience the daily life of these resilient and hardy people. As you approach Dades Gorge, you will be greeted by a stunning natural landscape that includes towering rock formations, deep canyons, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The gorge is a popular destination for travelers who want to experience the rugged beauty of the Atlas Mountains, and it is a perfect place to end your off-road journey. Overnight in Dades Gorge

Day 04 : Dades Gorge – Toudra Gorge- Merzouga :

After breakfast, enjoy the beautiful views of the Dades Valley before heading to the Todra Gorges, a popular spot for rock climbers. After a short walk in the Todra Gorges for a walk  , we will drive to Merzouga in the heart of the Sahara Desert. Lunch with local family in Melaab , you will witness the beauty of Berber villages scattered throughout the desert oasis. Upon arriving in Merzouga, we will relax before embarking on a camel ride, where you will experience the vast beauty of the Sahara Desert, watch the sunset from the top of a dune, and enjoy a traditional Berber dinner around a campfire, overnight at luxury private tent

Day 05 : Merzouga desert – Nkob – Deraa valley- Ouarzazate :

Very early in the morning, you will have a “Date with the sunrise” in the middle of the desert, waking up early is a “must do” to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you’ve ever seen at the top of a dune, close to the camp. After breakfast, will visit the spectacular Gnaoua music in Khamlia tribe  to Rissani Souk , will drive after to Nkob Village for lunch at the land art camp, after lunch will drive through the Draa valley, the longest river in Morocco. After lunch in a traditional Kasbah, you will drive to Ouarzazate, also called the “Holywood of Morocco,” a known film-making location. Overnight sleep in Ouarzazate .

Day 06 : Ouarzazate – Aitbenhaddou – Telouet Kasbah – Marrakech :

We’ll start in Ouarzazate, a city in southern Morocco known as the “door of the desert.” From there, we’ll head to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s famous for its traditional Moroccan architecture and has been the setting for many films and TV shows.Once we arrive at Ait Benhaddou, we’ll take a guided tour of the kasbah, a fortified village made of adobe buildings that’s situated on a hill overlooking the surrounding landscape. Next, we’ll visit the Telouet Kasbah, which was once a grand palace that belonged to the Glaoui family, who were powerful Berber chieftains. The kasbah features intricate mosaics, ornate wood carvings, and beautiful gardens, and it provides a fascinating glimpse into the lifestyle of Morocco’s wealthy elite.we’ll continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for a barbecue lunch at a scenic spot along the way. The High Atlas Mountains are the highest mountain range in North Africa, and they offer stunning views of rugged peaks, deep valleys, and lush forests.we’ll arrive in Marrakech, a bustling city that’s famous for its vibrant markets, colorful architecture, and lively atmosphere. We’ll have time to explore the city’s souks, visit its historic landmarks, and sample its delicious cuisine before our tour comes to an end
